NRCM Program in Waterville

The Natural Resources Council of Maine, co-hosted by Sustain Mid-Maine, the Colby College Environmental Studies Program, and Barrels Community Market, is presenting a free program on November 19 5:30PM at Barrels Community Market in Waterville, ME (74 Main St.).
The program is titled “Two Million Clean Energy Jobs Now.” The topics of discussion will be:

  • Comprehensive clean energy and climate legislation
  • Ending our dependence on foreign oil
  • Rewarding innovation & job creation
  • Creating thousands of green collar jobs for Maine
  • Slowing the threat of climate change

Barrels Community Market will also be provided free, local food to go along with these important discussion topics.
