If you haven’t heard by now, the Solar Road Trip crew made it to the White House — okay, technically, we made it to the Eisenhower Executive Office Building next to the White House for a meeting with White House staffers. Of course, we were a little disappointed in the result (read, “they didn’t take the panel, and they didn’t commit to installing a new (free) solar array). But our campaign was a small part of a bigger movement to encourage meaningful solutions to the climate crisis. We’ll be processing the trip further in the days to come, and will present on our experiences soon. In the meantime, you can read up on some of the news from the trip — pre- and post-trip press — at Unity’s news page (see September 2010).
