A handful of Unity’s students are candidates for December graduation this year. The sustainability team is losing a couple of senior student staffers and we’re proud of the work they’ve done here.
Kayla Bubar has been a fixture in the sustainability office. As one of our first Sustainable Design and Technology students she’s built the bridge between the sustainability office and our academic program. A sometimes blog contributor, Kayla has taken on innumerable independent projects for the office and proven herself a sustainability resource among her peers.
Rory Dwyer has been a tireless recycling champion. His enthusiasm for the “C.R.A.P. Crew” (he might be one of the few people who knows what it stands for) is infectious. In the last couple of years Rory has been called upon to train and mentor new crew members, ensuring that his recycling legacy will live on at Unity.
Good luck to you both on your next sustainability adventures. It’s been a pleasure.
