It’s about time, right?
The carrots have been long out of the ground and the cabbage is long ago distributed. We managed to store up a few pallets of winter squash that were distributed during January by the Volunteer Regional Food Pantry.
VFA hopes to have even more ability to store food in 2011 so we can stretch the veggie goodness even farther into the cold months.
For now, check this blog and our Scuffle Hoe Diary for updates, while we anxiously read our seed catalogs and plan for spring.
