STARS in the Curriculum Webinar

Last week I teamed up with the AASHE and Michele Hebert of the University of Alaska, Fairbanks to offer a webinar on STARS in the classroom.  As you likely know, STARS is AASHE’s comprehensive campus sustainability assessment framework, and this past spring a few students enrolled in the STARS course to explore campus sustainability concepts and do the data gathering and credit reporting for Unity’s  STARS report.  This webinar is one in a series that AASHE has put together to support STARS participants and other interested folks.

View the full webinar to get a sense of our different approaches to STARS course design and implementation, or check out minutes 10-30 if you just want to hear the Unity College portion of the presentation.

  1. Seems like a really good way to work technical writing into the curriculum. Tech writing often gets overlooked, but definitely something many Unity students will find themselves using in their jobs.
