In an effort to divert reusable items from the campus waste stream, our recycling team has established a Student Resource Exchange station near student mailboxes. This area is meant for clean, reusable items, freely given and taken by students. The station has been created and will be maintained by Recycling Coordinator Martin Maines with help from the student recycling crew. So before you buy or throw out those school supplies, stop by the Resource Exchange for notebooks, binders, folders, and more.
Acceptable items include:
- Books
- Binders / Note Pads
- Pens/pencils
- Personal items (devices, TVs, small furniture)
- Clean Clothes
- Unity College bottles/bags/clothing
- Lab supplies
- Calculators
- Non-perishable food items (cans, pasta, etc.)
Detailed dos and don’ts here.
*NOTE: The Student Resource Exchange is not a lost-and-found. You may submit and collect lost items to the the lost-and-found in the Student Affairs office.
Are these items donated anywhere at the end of the semester?
