Students join professor Mick Womersley for the Feb. 25 Building Energy Sustainability Session.

The Sustainability Office is hosting a series of open Sustainability Sessions throughout the semester.  Based on feedback from over 100 students we visited in classes early this semester, these informal sessions are intended to spread the word about ongoing sustainability initiatives and get additional feedback on select sustainability topics.  Sessions take place every other Monday at 11am and meet in the Student Center according to the following schedule. Sessions may include campus tours. The upcoming March 11 session will focus on campus farm and food work.

  • February 11 – Sustainability Session: Climate Action Plan
  • February 25 – Sustainability Session: Building Energy
  • March 11 – Sustainability Session: Farm & Food
  • April 8 – Sustainability Session: TerraHaus
  • April 22 – Sustainability Session: Recycling & Waste
  • May 6 – Sustainability Session: Sustainability Fund

Consult the Campus Master Calendar for these and other events.  And follow the Unity College Sustainability Facebook page for more info.
